This hands-on course will equip biologists and bioinformaticians with the statistical and computational skills needed to rigorously analyze RNA-seq and other high-throughput genomic data. Topics include:

• Hypothesis testing and statistical concepts for genomics
• Data visualization in R
• Genomic region analysis with GenomicRanges
• RNA-seq data handling with SummarizedExperiment
• Differential expression analysis with DESeq2
• Gene set and pathway analysis (GO, KEGG)

Prerequisites: Basic familiarity with R and genomics (no advanced statistics required).
