• 163097 references to 28637 distinct publications (papers, patents, theses, etc.)
• 14825 web links
• 9041 human, mouse and dog cell lines with STR profiles (from 911 distinct sources)
• 2518 NCIt and 1372 ORDO (Orphanet) disease terms cited
• 843 UBERON, 270 CL and 11 PO terms cited

Since release 50 of September 2024: 1746 entries were created and 62219 entries were updated

2) Small changes in the format of some cross-reference identifiers

These changes impact cross-references to BTO, ChEBI, HGNC and VGNC.

• For BTO and ChEBI the column ":" was replaced by an underscore "_".
• For HGNC and VGNC the gene "number" was replaced by respectively
  "HGNC:number" and "VGNC:number".
