Workshop details:

• Acquire foundational knowledge in Linux and familiarize yourself with navigating High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
• Explore the principles of Genome Assemblies with illumina, PacBio, and ONT data.
• Walk through download and quality control of sequence data, genome size estimation, assembly, polishing, scaffolding, and QC.
• Learn how to use popular software in the genome assembly space, such as jellyfish, MaSuRCA, Hifiasm, Flye, Merqury, gce, and more.
