I am performing an enrichment analysis using MIENTURNET based on miRNA-target interactions. The output brings duplicated genes, and I think it also performs a wrong statistical analysis due to these duplication. I read the article, but I did not find any information that could explain this behaviour. Here is a screenshot. As you can see on the first line celf2 gene is considering 7 times. Even though it seems that the gene is target for miRNA family (dre-miR-23a/dre-miR-23b), I could not find a reason for this duplication 7 times.
