Forum: want to work in open source project/project in bioinformatics
Hey everyone,
I am currently pursing a master's in bioinformatics, but I did my bachelor's in life science so I am inexperienced and I am unable to find a project to work on and gain experience, I searched locally and on the internet, I got rejected several times, My college syllabus does not meet the industry requirements, so I am rejected, that's why I want to work under someone on a project and gain experience. Many people suggested I go for courses but they are expensive, and I am not earning currently.

There is always stuff to do at nf-co.re and there are also sometimes quite small tasks to work on. I suggest starting with watching this beginners guide to nf-core to understand the basic organization, philosophy and tools around the project. There are recorded trainings as well as written tutorials for Nextflow available.
