Correct 18S data file to assign taxonomy
I want to perform taxonomy identification using assign taxonomy and silva 18 S data set but I got this error message:
Error in assignSpecies(seqs, refFasta = refFasta, allowMultiple = allowMultiple, :
Incorrect reference file format for assignSpecies (this looks like a file formatted for assignTaxonomy).
I used this file: silva_132.18s.99_rep_set.dada2.fa
Can you please tell me what is the correct file for taxonomy identification of 18S data
