What is the preferred software these days for running eQTL analyses, and the largest publicly available datasets?

My impressions are: softwares: matrixEQTL is fast, but I think limited by the linear modeling mixed models could be better.

datasets eQTLGen is the largest dataset publicly available. eQTL Catalogue is also a compendium of datasets.

I was curious what others thought.
