System requirements to create panel of normal
Hi all,
I have 40 normal samples, and I want to create a panel of normal with these 40 normal samples. I'm referring to this post for the same
GATK Mutect2 Panel-Of-Normals generation
I've successfully created vcf files for these 40 samples with GATK's Mutect2. But, when I tried to use GATK's GenomicsDBImport, I encountered memory issue (i.e) my system is getting hanged and my system's memory is getting exhausted completely. I tried only with 6 normal vcfs (as a test run) and faced the same issue.
Could anyone please let me know the minimum system requirements for creating a normal panel? Also, is there a memory-efficient way to create panel of normals?
