Forum: Gene ontology vs Gene set enrichment
Please I am new to the world of RNA seq analysis. I received an excel file for gene ontology data for my study with numbers of genes, significant genes, P values and adjusted P values for the different GO terms for my study.Please Does this mean the GSEA has already been done? Or do I still need to do a GSEA for the study? Is the gene ontology data I recieved different from a GSEA data?

GSEAby broad institute is not yet done. This is just an gene ontology analysis. For GSEA you can follow the instructions from GSEAUserGuide
