Finding a suitable substrate database for fermentation

Hi everyone,

I have to find an industrial fermentation substrate for my fermentation process (ex: bagasse, rice husks, etc) in my thesis.

I know my bacteria:

  • Can: degrade casein, elastin, esculin, gelatin, starch, and Tween 20, 40, 60
  • Cannot: break down cellulose and some nitrogenous compounds such as adenine, guanine, hypoxanthine, pectin, testosterone, tyrosine, urea, and xanthine.

Which database should I choose to find the best substrate for my process? I need a database that has a list of components of the substrate.

Thanks, everyone, I look forward to the help.
