How to convert "flowJO" counts of cells from flow-cytometry to ".json" file format or relational-database compatible input format?

I notice that flowJo summaries of flow-cytometry data as in the actual cells are in wide-format, and generally not loadable into a database or something I can run statistical software.

I want to convert the flowJo excel exports of the flow-cytometry cell count data into .json format, or into a nice for relational-database-management-software format.

How to proceed?
