Hello, I have mostly worked in the plant background, dealing with transcriptomics, epigenetics as well as functional genomics. I will now be switching my focus on cancer and other diseases. I would like to know what are the recent hot topics regarding application of bioinformatics in disease systems. I can of course read articles, but I wanted to look at more focused resources/blogs/opinions/reviews on this, as I am starting from scratch. I will be mostly working on publicly available data first.
