How to access the ACLAME server?

Hello!

My name is Loredana and I have a question about the ACLAME server. I tried to access it but without success in the last few days. Will the database be back online soon or does it have another access point? Does anyone know of any other database that classifies mobile genetic elements?

This appears to be a 10+ year old paper and as with many of these services it may be dead. Are you certain it was available recently?

Yes. The last time I accessed this server was in February this year. Do you know of any similar database? I need a server to characterize some mobile genetic elements.

Then my suggestion would be to email the senior author on the paper and let them know that the server is down. Sometimes people may not monitor stable old tools actively.
