News: Free web seminars related to small non-coding RNA bioinformatics

In the framework of the small non-coding RNA bioinformatics club (https://smallrna-bioinformatics.eu/), we are happy to share with you upcoming seminars.

The club propose free seminars every two months. A main speaker for a 30-minute talk, and a PhD student / post-doc for an 8-minute talk. Abstracts and links for the seminars are available here, as soon as possible: https://smallrna-bioinformatics.eu/Pages/Seminars/Seminars.aspx

Tweet for easy re-transmission:

Seminars are given at 4pm CET (often first Monday of the month), except in rare cases.

  • 4 July 2022 - Cynthia Sharma - mechanisms/functions of small RNAs in bacteria (not recorded)
  • 10 October 2022 (updated) - Marc Friedländer - miRNA-target interactions in single cells
  • 7 November 2022 - Amy Buck - Amy Buck is working in the field of microRNA-virus interactions

Last week we were happy to welcome Isana Veksler-Lublinsky and Shani Cohen for their nice presentations about predicting targets of microRNAs and bacterial small RNAs. We were about 50 small non-coding RNA fans to attend! https://smallrna-bioinformatics.eu/Pages/Seminars/S22_05.aspx

The recordings of these two nice presentations are available here: Shani Cohen (8 minutes): https://youtu.be/yp2pEp444jQ

Isana Veksler-Lublinsky (30 minutes): https://youtu.be/pzf0SeTXOMM
