Hello,
I have some output from quantitative proteomics including Peptide Abundances for both RNA-bound and supposedly unbound protein lysates. I would like to be able to see if the process of separation worked and identify RNA-binding proteins (RBP's) and quantify if there is a higher abundance between lysates.
I would like to identify known RBP's and known Non-RBP's (which associate with RBP's) using UniProt ID. I have used RBP2GO and EMBL's RBPbase - however I found clear RBP's in my dataset which are supposedly not bound to RNA (example is Prpf4 - PRP4 pre-mRNA processing factor 4 homolog).
Does anyone know of any other ways of identifying RBP's and proteins which associate with RBP's via UniProt ID's?
Thanks!
