Hey everyone,

I was wondering whether there is any specific term for genes that exhibit very low or no detectible expression (for instance, a certain expression threshold as TPM < 0.5) in a given condition, while massive induction in an another condition. Has anyone encountered any distinctive term for this or a focus in this area - or they simply fall under the broader term of induced/upregulated genes?
