How would you find out if format specifiers are all from the same gene of from multiple members of a gene family Unix
I am new to Unix and I am unsure of how to proceed. I am trying to find out if the following format specifiers are from the same gene or if they are members of a gene family:
qseqid
sseqid
pident

Not sure in what context you are asking this question, but it seems something related to BLAST. These are common abbreviations for query sequence ID, subject sequence ID and percent identity.
