WGCNA: Gene Significance in WGCNA
I wonder if anyone might be able to explain to me how Gene Significance is calculated in WGCNA using a binary trait comparison? I am struggling to understand a correlation coefficient with a binary trait. Is it calculated as a linear regression model? If anyone is able to provide an explanation for this so that I can fully understand it would be amazing, thank you kindly!
