Thank you for the reply! I was aware of that, I was just wondering if there exists a GEO entry that contained that information within the entry itself, not within the paper. I feel like there should be at least some studies that include that. But I appreciate your answer so much!
GEO scRNA-seq entry with cell type information?
Hello,
I am trying to look for a scRNA-seq dataset hosted in GEO that, apart of the common files genes.tsv, barcodes.tsv and matrix.mtx, also has a file mapping barcode to cell types (as annotated by the paper). I have been trying to find one example of this but have been unsuccessful. Does anybody know of one such entry?
Thanks a lot!!

If it is not in the GEO record, it may be in the following locations:
- some other public record of the data
- in a main or supplementary table in the associated publication
- in the [private] possession of the lead or first [or another] author, in which case you should send them a professional e-mail to request it
