Greengenes homepage
Hi there,
I am looking for the landing page for Greengenes database.
There are two available below:
1) https://greengenes.lbl.gov/Download/ 2) https://greengenes.secondgenome.com/
Both of them seem not right to me because these are just flat file download and no user interactive functionalities at all.
Would you be able to advise please?

The original GreenGenes resided at https://greengenes.lbl.gov/, which now redirects to https://greengenes.lbl.gov/Download/. It seems GreenGenes has been retired, and now only an archival copy is available.
GreenGenes hasn't been updated for the past few years (I believe since 2012 or 2013), and both RDP and Silva (the old players) and GTDB (a newcomer) continuously updated and revised the rRNA sequences and their taxonomy, rendering GreenGenes largely obsolete.
