Hi All, I'm just curious about whether there is a correlation between copy number and tumor severity ? ( Actually, this question is asked by my friend when talking about my research -- copy number detection algorithm. )

For example, will a proto-oncogene with 10 copies correlates more severe tumor than the same gene with 3 copies ? ( Assuming other conditions are the same )
