Function Of Amino Acids In Protein Repeated Several Times
I often encounter low complexity regions in protein sequences especially many repeats of the same amino acid. I saw some papers which suggest that it allows non-specific interaction with many substrates increasing protein protein interaction network. I am wondering how the evolution took place and why did they appear.
