thanks, good for learning but I am not sure if this has significant meaning while comes to find a job ?
I am planning to online graduate certificate in areas of computation science relevant to biologists
(bioinformatics / biostatistics / applied statistics / computation biology)
I want such certificate accredited but still affordable.
I live US but online courses accredited internationally are OK.
Just an example I could find is standford graduate certificate course in Bioinformatics which costs me about $12,320 - $15,840 (11 - 12 units)

I think if you complete all assignments it gives you certificate of completion. Maybe not as effective on finding job as the paid courses, but definitely worth it. Good luck.
To be honest, I'm not sure if completing any of these "accredited" certificate programs would be of much more help finding in finding a job, either. Have you found job listings that suggest these would be good for something?
If I were you, I might try to find a few current job listings that you think are the ones you'd like to be applying for after you complete your program and contact them to see if having completed such a program would make you a more attractive candidate.
The program at the University of Manchester (UK) is fantastic. http://octette.cs.man.ac.uk/bioinformatics/
From web it looks like they have a degree program only, is there a shorter (certificate) program ?
Yes, they have a certificate program too. http://octette.cs.man.ac.uk/bioinformatics/qualifications/PostgraduateCertificate.html
