I am trying to run ESTScan2-2.1 on Mac OS 10.9. I tried to install the program along with BTLib following the instructions in README file. Makefile.pl runs to completion but when I type make install I get the following error. make: * No rule to make target /System/Library/Perl/5.16/darwin-thread-multi-2level/CORE/cc_runtime.h', needed byBTLib.o'. Stop. If I try to run ESTScan from a computer (Mac OS 10.9) with ESTScan preinstalled I get the following error message Can't locate FASTAFile.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /sw/lib/perl5/darwin-thread-multi-2level /sw/lib/perl5 /sw/lib/perl5/darwin /Library/Perl/5.16/darwin-thread-multi-2level /Library/Perl/5.16 /Network/Library/Perl/5.16/darwin-thread-multi-2level /Network/Library/Perl/5.16 /Library/Perl/Updates/5.16.2 /System/Library/Perl/5.16/darwin-thread-multi-2level /System/Library/Perl/5.16 /System/Library/Perl/Extras/5.16/darwin-thread-multi-2level /System/Library/Perl/Extras/5.16 .) at /usr/local/bin/ESTScan line 13. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/local/bin/ESTScan line 13. When I continue finding the files (eg FASTAFile.pm in this case) and pasting them in the respective locations, and rerunning them, I get teh follwoing error message "Can't locate loadable ofject for module ESTScan in @INC. (@INC contains: /sw/lib/perl15/darwin-thread-multi-2-level......... BEGIN failed-- compilation aborted at (address) ESTScan line 14 Could anyone kindly explain what I can do? I tried to contact the EST mailing list, but that list apparently no more exists.
