Range Of Peptide Masses In Ms Experiments

I'm wondering what is the range of peptide masses encountered in typical mass spectrometry (MS) / tandem MS experiments? Say, what is the proportion of peptides falling below 3 kDa? Can anyone direct me to a source where I could find it out?
