I've been looking for the source-code (or any other way to install locally) for the mgrep tool. The is used by the http://www.bioontology.org/ Annotator webtool and there have been a handful of articles comparing it to MetaHit, linked here and here. Both of the papers mention how mgrep is flexible enough to incorporate ontologies defined in two-column formats ... but the version the BioOntology portal links too is highly integrated into their entire database system.

Does anyone out there know where I can get a local version? I have a lot of annotations I need to do and I don't want to blast their server if I don't need too.
