Error while using blastdb_aliastool - Some referenced files may be missing
Hello. I am unable to make a database alias file using blastdb_aliastool command. I have downloaded the TrEMBL database fasta file from UniProt, and made a protein blast database with it. I am trying to restrict the database with a sequence ID list by using the following command:
blastdb_aliastool -db Tr -dbtype prot -seqidlist Tr_no_SA.txt -out Tr_noSA
But I am getting the error:
BLAST Database error: BLASTDB alias file creation failed. Some referenced files may be missing
Could someone help me troubleshoot this? thank you.
