I have recently done an assignment on medical waste management on Dhaka City, Bangladesh. My study site was Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital Babubazar, Dhaka. Study goal was contribution of antibiotic resistancy of Bacteria by medical college and hospital. The are treating disease and simultaneously creating more dangerous one because they have no waste treatment plant. Patients secretes are going through municipal sewage line and creating gene pool and selective pressure and new new resistant bacteria are being produced.

Drug resistance has become a great problem in our country. Sometimes a single species can resist 12 different drug including all common 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation antibiotics.

A survey on drug resistance is running. There need some Genetic and Bioinformatic study on those bacteria. My assignment
