Hi All,

What is the difference between isoform usage and isoform switching? What is the biological difference between this two term? What I understand isoform usage is calculated based on isoform fraction per sample whereas isoform switch is an event where isoforms of same gene is differentially expressed. But I cant find what different independent biological questions can be answered by the individual events.
