Dear all,

I have detected the presence of a 49.5 Kb Genomic Island (using Islandviewer4) in my newly sequenced bacterial genome. The genomic Island possess a tRNA-Sec; Tyrosine Type Integrase / Transposase; multiple IS elements and multiple antibiotic resistance genes.

I need your inputs and suggestion as to how to go forward in characterizing this as an Integron or a transposon. How to identify the presence of Repeats (DRs or IRs) or att sites (attL or attR) in the region.

I'll be grateful for your insights on this.
