Wormbase Sequence Files
I want to download worms genomes from Wormbase ftp site.
On ftp site in sequences directory I see files like:
...
c_elegans.WS216.dna.fa.gz
c_elegans.WS217.dna.fa.gz
c_elegans.WS218.dna.fa.gz
...
What does it mean? Versions?

Yes, the WS numbers are database releases; Wormbase has a regular release schedule. You can see the full details here:

You might want to think about using WS210, which is compatible with Ensembl viewers and data:
