Is there any way to distinguish between a company or a device through the unique device header in the Fastq file?
Is there any way to differentiate between a company or equipment through a unique device header?
@HWUSI-EAS(Sequencing head) at the beginning of the FASTQ File I know that this is a unique instrument header that tells you what equipment it was produced on.
However, I don't know how to determine if I've used Sequencing equipment from companies like illumina and Pacific Biosciences by looking at the unique instrument header.
Is there any way to check it?
