makemat blast tool not in usr/bin after apt-get install
I am running into an issue with "makemat". Despite downloading the ncbi suite on ubuntu, it seems a few exectuables are missing. I realized this when trying to run psi-pred for ss predction on my local machine.
Running PSI-BLAST with sequence alpha-tubulin.fasta ... Predicting secondary structure... /usr/bin/makemat: Command not found. FATAL: Error whilst running makemat - script terminated!

Which version of blast did you install? This program is from original
blast(version 2.2 and prior) and is not in the latestblast+. You will need to install legacy blast if you must use that program.
