Trimming tool for Ion Torrent AmpliSeq data

Hi everyone!

I'm a student in Bioinformatics and I've to choose a trimming tool for my NGS data from Ion AmpliSeq panel sequenced with Ion PGM. Which is the best trimming tool for this type of reads (single-end) and 125 bp-175 bp of length?

Do you think it is better a static or a dynamic trim?

It is possible to decide the tool without knowing the sequencing quality? (because that's what I have to do...)
