Hi everyone, I face the task of finding specific palindromic sequences in the genomic region surrounding a particular operon as well as within the operon itself. The starting point is the set of sequences of one of the proteins encoded by this operon and blast search. These are all bacterial sequences. I have basic Python and BioPython programming skills but I can't get through this topic. Would anyone be willing to guide me where to start? Or maybe someone was facing a similar task?
