My computer is a Mac OS X El Capitan V10.11.6 and I can't get Modeller to run in terminal. I installed Modeller with the package from their website and inputted my license key. I also installed Python 3.8.2 and confirmed its installation in terminal. Typing "mod9.24" is supposed to run Modeller, but the output says "usage: mod9.24 script [...]." I've just recently learned basic terminal commands and have no experience working with Python. Video tutorials with Modeller use Windows, so I would appreciate any help from someone with Mac OS X knowledge! Thank you!

If you've installed it for Mac OS X, it should show up in the Applications folder. You can hit Cmd + Space to bring up Spotlight and search for "Modeller". That will open the GUI application. The command line is not what you're after, I think.

That line

usage: mod9.24 script

... tells you that Modeller is likely to be installed correctly. It also tells you that it expects a script name after you type program name. Scripts are text files containing information about the modeling protocol, file locations and such. There are numerous examples of scripts at Modeller's web page. To the best of my knowledge, you will have to run Modeller from the command line even under Mac OS.
