What is the difference of "scaffold" and "contig" in assembly ?
Hey, everyone !
These days, I run assembly of M.oryzae. To assess my result, I also run bbmap's stats.py.
And, got some statistical value like N50 or L50.
However, it outputed separately for scaffold and contig, and the values are slightly different.
Does anyone know the difference of scaffold and contig ?
