Phylogenetic Tree Annotations

I am interested in putting lines between my dots on my tree to fill in the empty spaces, as I have done in the center. However, I am not able to do this with the web tool iTOL. I don't know if this is even possible. Each dot is representing a gene cluster.

I don't know if it's possible or if anyone has had experience with this.
