cophenetic on large distance matrices
Anyone know an alternative to ape::cophenetic that I could use for a large tree (>22000 tips)? ape::cophenetic utilizes C code ("dist_nodes.c"), which cannot handle large vectors passed to it, so it breaks when applied to trees with > ~2e4 tips, at least on:
R version 3.6.2 (2019-12-12)
