Production level data for structures from PDB and/or SGC

Hello,

I am trying to find information about the level at which scientists managed to express a protein (in a given host) before crystallising it. Would you know where I can find this information please?

Many thanks

Hello Aurelie MLB!

We believe that this post does not fit the main topic of this site.

You better ask this in a wetlab-focused community such StackExchange Biology. Be sure to add the necessary details, as your question is rather vague.

For this reason we have closed your question. This allows us to keep the site focused on the topics that the community can help with.

If you disagree please tell us why in a reply below, we'll be happy to talk about it.

Cheers!

I think this is a legitimate question. It is not about the expression procedure - which would be a wet-lab question - but how to get the expression information. Analysing headers of PDB files is more appropriate for a bioinformatician than a wet-lab biologist.

Speaking of analysing headers, this information is mostly in SOURCE lines of PDB files. Note that a level of expression is typically not included in PDB files I have looked through over the years.
