I am trying to make some simulation using ALF genome simulator (http://alfsim.org/#index). I tried some default settings, but I would like to make a larger simulation. To do so, I need to provide a root genome in so called Darwin DB format. Are there any genomes available in this format? Ideally I would like to have something like a fruit fly.

There is very little documentation on this format, I could only find this article from 1998: https://inf.ethz.ch/personal/gonnet/DarwinManual/node86.html
