Seeking a motivated, creative, and scientifically curious individual who can leverage skills in the cell/molecular lab and skills in big data analysis to rapidly test mechanistic hypotheses of gene expression regulation. We want to know how cardiac muscle cells regulate the expression of paracrine factors (or related machinery) that drive fibrosis and inflammation in the heart. Our ultimate goal is to develop effective therapeutics for heart failure. We are a young and growing lab exploring new scientific territory. Priorities in the lab include fostering a team environment, following the data, professional development, and productivity.

In addition to requisite laboratory and analytical skills, the successful candidate will have high quality pubmed listed publications and a track record of productivity appropriate for their stage of training. The ability to begin work in Columbus, OH within 3 months and strong written/verbal communication skills are required.
