Following is the visual output for EBI's blast service. I don't understand it completely. I get that the left side is my sequence and right side is the subject sequence. What exactly are the colored lines, they seem to be matches. But then why is the right side just a blank line (in some cases even right side was colored).
I searched all over EBI for the interpretation of this visual output but couldn't find it anywhere. So apparently it's obvious. I am surely missing something.

see the example above with Evalue scale: Evalue of the match is Color coded; and length and position of the band represents the coverage of the sequence or subject.
In your case subject length is too big (6767514) that's why matching region is too small to represent it in the picture.
