Is it allowed to make a derivative work of the BioStar Handbook in another programming language?

On the Julia forum, there was the suggestion of creating a new "flavor" of the BioStar Handbook, but using Julia as programming language for the code examples.

Is this allowed under the current license, and if so, would there be any interest from the current authors in collaborating on this?

I've been intrigued by Julia for a while, would personally be keen to see this.

Code examples may be translated in any other language,

What is not permitted is re-publishing another version of the book where any of the content is copied verbatim and only the code is changed.

As always Fair Use applies and I consider myself a supporter of Fair Use policies.
