Building Compute Cluster
Dear Bioinformaticians,
I hope this question is correctly placed here and hope that you have a few suggestions for me. A colleague and me would like to build our own computer cluster, but since we do not have funding to hire someone to do so, we have to do this by ourself.
Do you have any book recommendations dealing with how to set-up such a system effectively and how to maintain it?
Also, where to buy used hardware, such as RAM and processors (google search leads only to retailer, I am working in Germany)
Looking forward to some suggestions or a good discussion.
