Visualyzing an otu table

Hi!

I was given an otu table in excel .xlsx format. I'm trying to visualyze it somehow, but i can't import it to qiime through "biom convert" maybe because of some sort of symbol corruptions. I also have 6 txt files "l2 phylum.txt; l3 class.txt; l4 order.txt; l5 family.txt; l6 genus.txt; l7 species.txt" with information from excel otu file, but separated. Maybe i can use them somehow to get a visualization? How can i visualyze this otu table?

  1. Export table from excel as a tsv/csv.
  2. Convert the delimited file instead of the .xlsx with biom convert
  3. Scold whoever gave you an Excel file to analyse.
