arXiv Files of Bioinformatics domain

Hi,

I had done, gene-gene network study and willing to upload it at "arXiv".

My questions are:

  1. What is the section and subsection, in https://arxiv.org/ -- to upload a document related to Bioinformatics?
  2. In the Bioinformatics domain, do a document in 'arXiv' will get cited?
  3. If it is not 'arXiv' is a place for Bioinformatics, where else this domain documents will be uploaded?

Any kind of help is highly appreciated.

I suggest you upload bioinformatics papers to https://www.biorxiv.org/ . There is a bioinformatics section there.

If you want to stick with your original choice then something under Quantitative biology would likely be appropriate. Since you know the content of your paper you may be the best judge of the particular section.
