What crosses to make to breed a homozygous individual?
Say you have a population (e.g. of fruit flies), and you are interested in a trait that has two alleles and simple dominance (e.g. wrinkled wings), and you don't know if it is dominant or recessive. What series of crosses can you make to obtain an individual that is guaranteed to be homozygous for that trait?

This looks like a high school homework or undergraduate home study question. What work have you done? What have you found out by yourself. Where are you getting confused?
You could say that, it is related to an on-line introductory class. I have understood how to figure out if a trait is recessive or dominant, or has incomplete penetrance, if it has sex linkage. Some procedures I read (e.g. test cross) require an organism known to be homozygote, and I wonder if there is a way to guarantee that, before knowing if the trait is domintant, and has sex linkage. If I already know if the trait is dominant and sex linked, then I can find if the organism is omozygous for the trait.
