Thanks, I saw some papers who manages to use a file names lproks.cgi (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genomes/lproks.cgi) but I can not locate this file anymore. Is it needed to download a full assemble to grab this data per a genome?
bacteria genomes Environment data
Hello. The NCBI genome nclude a summary header
e.g https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome/167?genome_assembly_id=161521 With the line "Environment". Environment: OxygenReq:Facultative, OptimumTemperature:37, TemperatureRange:Mesophilic, Habitat:HostAssociated
I wish to download genomes with a specific Environment filed (e.g OxygenReq:Facultative). Where this data is located? I can not find this data in the bacteria ftp directory.
Thanks.

Hello
These are the environmental properties for the given genome assembly. You can not separate the sequenced based on one.
