Up-grading R 3.2.5 to R 3.4.0
Hi,
I was going to install package "proxy" on R 3.2.5 when demanded R 3.4.0 or more. I installed R 3.4.0 but I have > 400 packages installed on my R 3.2.5. How can I tell R 3.4.0 where my packages are not to need to re-installed 400 package on my new R???
Thank you
I am in window 8.0

Not a software error... And probably important to mention your operating system.
Thank you I mentioned my OS. I noticed I don't know how to google my question. genomax suggested transferring-installed-packages-between-different-installations-or-r while I was googling "how to re-install all packages from r 3.2.5 to R 3.4.0".
I am going to try
Thanks again
Or if it is easier to uninstall new R and then upgrade your old R without losing packages then try this: https://www.r-bloggers.com/upgrade-r-without-losing-your-packages/
Thank you, but proxy package needs R 3.4.0 or more
